Let’s make the world beautiful.

Bright Matter is a multidisciplinary art consultancy that brings visual clarity, meaning and joy to spaces through large-scale murals, installation and creative direction.

We work with developers, architects, brands, and institutions to integrate site-specific art into the built environment — blending contemporary aesthetics with deep visual narrative thinking.

Who We Are

Bright Matter Studio, led by artist-duo Kim Carlino and Michael Crigler, is a multidisciplinary art and consulting studio that creates site-specific works to transform spaces and uplift communities.

We believe in the power of public art to tell stories rooted in place — using bold color, abstract form, and dynamic pattern to reflect the character, energy, and heritage of each site. Our visual language is both expressive and intentional, designed to evoke joy, invite connection, and spark a sense of belonging.

Our work spans murals, installations, spatial design, and creative direction — always centered on the human experience of space. Collaboration is at the heart of our practice. We work closely with developers, architects, municipalities, and cultural institutions to understand the context, aspirations, and challenges of each site.

Through thoughtful dialogue, we translate vision into art that responds to both the physical environment and the spirit of a community. Bright Matter Studio’s projects are more than surface — they are vibrant, lasting markers of identity that help shape how we feel in the places we move through every day.
